今年7月，台北市士林區發生一起前軍情局士官長對太太陳姓女子潑酸毀容案，被告朱姓男子被依重傷害罪起訴。士林地方法院開庭，陳女委由律師表示，因以收到和解金，願意與朱男和解。

開庭時，檢方表示，案發當下陳女全身30%灼傷，臉部幾乎毀容，視力也嚴重受損，僅剩下0.03，需要角膜移植。雖然至今4個月，陳女在積極治療下逐漸復原中，但仍應以重傷害論罪。

朱男的委任律師認為，陳女並無毀容、雙眼視力嚴重受損狀況，應以傷害罪論處。陳女的委任律師則表示，以收到朱男的賠償金，願意和朱男達成和解不再追訴。

今年7月，曾在軍情局任職士官長30歲的朱姓男子，與34歲妻子發生爭執，陳女當時以通訊軟體Line傳訊息要求離婚，朱男因此預謀準備2桶氫氧化鈉。

當與陳女在家中再度爆發口角時，朱男先對陳女掐脖，又將氫氧化鈉溶液潑下，導致陳女全身嚴重2或3度灼傷，連頭髮都被熔毀掉落地面，陳女忍痛向社區保全求助，才獲送醫。
